well i finally made it here. to provo. to southridge--my new flat. i have to say that when mom and i walked in this afternoon, i was disappointed. its kind of small, kinda dingy, kinda...not what i had hoped for. however, i am pretty sure it will be fine. :-)
so since i last wrote. we went to salt lake...then on saturday and sunday we were in arbon/pocatello for diane and claude's 50th wedding anniversary. i hope i get to be married that long! it was good to be with dad's side of the family again and to talk to them a bit and get to know them a bit. saturday night i rode home with collin and jenny and they treated me to arctic circle and i also found out that when collin got home from his mission, sherene told him the best way to get normal again was to have a NCMO!! haha i couldn't belive it!
sunday mom and i drove back to salt lake and got to see a concert by the sister missionaries on temple square. it was pretty good and the spirit was strong. we also got to walk around temple square a bit and that was really good.
today we ran some errands, and even got to eat lunch at Hires Big H! yummmm its a great hamburger place. then we left for provo and there was a HUGE traffic jam so it took forever but we finally got here. i got checked in , met my roommates (there are 2--spencer and phil), some people helped bring my stuff in, and mom and i dashed off to walmart to get some essentials before she went back to salt lake. after that i unpacked til about 8:30, scarfed some dinner, and went and met jimmy gillie on campus. we walked and talked for a while until we had interviews for a custodial job at the wilk. we were both surprised when we had actual interviews, as the last time we had been interviewed for a custodial job, it was more of a sign up session. but it (hopefully) went well and i should hear back soon if i'm hired. afterwards, i showed jimmy my apartment and then after he left i got to know my roommates a bit more...they seem pretty cool. spencer, my room roommate, lived in the cedar rapids stake up until 5 years ago! crazy, no? i knew i recognised him!!
anyway now i'm trying to figure out how to fix my itunes problem (it just freezes anytime i push play) and i need to go to bed...jimmy and i are going to the temple at 9:00 tomorrow...or today, that is!!!

Hey David, I didn't know that you had a blog! I've got it on my favorites! HOpe all is going well for you and that you have a little more time for sleep now with less credits! Mark's advice about the number of credits: "Whenever you think you have too many credits you probably do" Okay not an excact quote, but something like that! =)
